Egg Update
Okay, so I’ve been to the doctor a couple of times since my last post. It turns out that I have 7 follicles but it’s more than likely that I will only have 3 or 4 eggs for retrieval. We will pull the trigger tomorrow night and have the retrieval on Saturday. My transfer will probably Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Three shots a day is too much for me. The medication is kicking my arse. It’s kind of like PMS on steroids. I feel a constant range and rush of emotions; it’s very hard to keep it together.
I hope this works because–Rosie the Riveter aside– I really don’t know if I have what it takes to do this again.
The end is in sight.
The fact is that IVF IS more successful than IUI. Hang in there – I’m really hoping that this is it for you guys.

And IVF is what DOES work for many women for whom nothing else has worked. Hoping this is it for you.

6Wow. Good luck witht eh retrival! I am only on clomid and hcg and I can barely stand that, I can’t imagine what you are going through. I keep telling myself it will all be worth it, but it all seems like a crazy way of getting there! Fingers crossed.
7Just when you think you can’t you CAN…just relax or try to…it’s almost over!!! you have Saturday to feel like shit after the ER and then come Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday you will have a smile from ear to ear….and then the madness starts but with a twist of the TWW….
