Drool, Baby, Drool
So, I have been on parental leave for about a month now, and I’ve been loving every minute of it. Unfortunately stay at home momdom, doesn’t leave a time of time for blogging.
I really think that I missed my calling as a SAHM but, unfortunately, yours truely will be going back to work in January, which means that I am developing a “nanny care plan” as we speak–but more on that in another post.
There are so many milestones to mention, including that fact that Baby Jay can now sleep from 9 PM until 4AM, roll onto his side, and simulate flying high during tummy time with a huge toothless grin.
The other ‘milestone’ I guess, if you want to call it that, is that he drools absolutely all of the time. Can you say “teething”? Well, apparently, my doctor doesn’t seem to think he’s teething yet but, at the same time, she can’t explain all of the drool. Hmmmmmmmm…..
Anyhoo, Nadia and I fall deeper and deeper in love with Baby Jay every day.
He’s gorgeous. So glad you’re enjoying being home – but man, it does keep you busy, doesn’t it?

3As far as the drooling, W2 drooled from around 3-4 months…and didn’t get his first tooth until he was over 7 months old. There was a lot of drool going on for a long time!
He is beautiful!
And let me tell you this so you learn from our experience, not the Hard Way.
Baby Drool is toxic. It kills all electronics, big and small. You have been warned.
4He is delicious. Love his little kimono shirt btw. I hope you enjoy the time you have left at home full-time with him and find the transition back to work not as difficult as you expect. I sobbed every time I left her for the first two weeks, but now I like my time away to work in the company of other adults. Gives me more energy to play with and appreciate her when I’m home.

6baby j looks great! he is a CUTIE! i can’t believe how fast they grow. sammy has been drooling up a storm since three months. he’s still working on his tummy to back rollover and he’s definitely sleeping better.
how do you like your bumbo seat? i’m thinking of getting one for sammy.
